The Excitingly Dull Truth

My only problem with this wonderfully accurate map is that I didn't think of it myself (via Michael Totten):

Wouldn't it be nice to see this resolved down to the level of individual voters? That would be a pretty map. Any GIS wonks out there want to try that?

UPDATE: I actually meant to post this on another blog I write for, but I'm keeping it right here. Let's call it a brilliant mistake. This, I dare say, would make a pretty darn nice subject for a custom printed something-or-other. I must explore this...much thinking to do...permission to ask for...[strokes chin]
